What FlowMaster does
FlowMaster manages the entire internal logistics cycle: from picking components in the central warehouse to storing them in vertical warehouses, and finally delivering them to production islands via AGVs. The system monitors inventory, generates loading and picking lists, and plans logistics missions dynamically, reducing downtime and waste.
How it works
- Item Picking: The central warehouse receives picking lists generated by algorithms based on requirements and stock levels.
- Automated Movement: Single-code crates are transferred via roller conveyors and depalletizers to the vertical warehouse.
- Intelligent Storage: The vertical warehouse organizes crates into trays configured by kit or code, optimizing picking times.
- Distribution to Islands: AGVs pick up crates from the buffer and deliver them to production islands according to timed missions.
- Returns and Empty Management: Half-full or empty crates are collected and automatically sorted for reuse or replenishment.

Technology
- Ad-hoc developed logistics optimization and inventory management algorithms.
- Integration with robotic systems (arms, scanners, depalletizers).
- Vertical warehouse with shifting trays and barcode management.
- AGV vehicles for crate transport between buffers and islands.
- Operator interface for production progress and extra requests.
Benefits
- Efficiency: Reduces waiting times and manual handling.
- Traceability: Each crate is identified and monitored throughout the flow.
- Flexibility: Supports extra requests and dynamic stock management.
- Scalability: Suitable for complex, multi-island production lines.
- Integration: Compatible with ERP, WMS, and production supervisory systems.

FlowMaster is designed for manufacturing companies with assembly-based production, where synchronization between logistics and production is crucial. It is ideal for multi-island environments with high component variety and a need for intelligent automation.
